Author:

Tang Yan is a fiction writer originally from Hunan Province. He is a member of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), a member of the China Writers Association and the Chinese Forestry and Ecology Writers Association, and serves as a council member of the Hainan Writers Association. He is also Vice President of the Haikou Writers Association and Director of its Fiction Committee. His published works include the short story collection Tan Tian Stories and the novels Original Sin: Paradise Island and Island City Chronicles. He is the recipient of the Hainan Biennial Literary Award and the Xiao Jian Youth Literature Award.
