Born in 1997 in Jingmen, Hubei Province, Zheng Qiruo became interested in the works of Agatha Christie and Conan Doyle when he was young. In high school, he read a lot of Japanese mysteries and light novels, especially daily mysteries and setting mysteries, and was influenced by Mikihiko Renjo, Hironobu Yonezawa, Shakku Aizawa, Vixen Nishio, Nasu Mushroom and Eiichi.
