Author:
Yan Hui is a member of the Fujian Writers’ Association. He has published a number of novels, including The Offering for Murder, The Mutilated Image 17: The Killing Intentions of the New Epidemic, and The Substitute. He won third prize in the Chinese Grand Prix of Reason and many of his novels have been selected for various Chinese mystery and reason annuals and sold for film and television rights. His early works are in a strong Japanese style, focusing on trickery and multiple reversals, but he now devotes himself to creating localised and original speculative stories with a lighter pace and distinctive style.
