Author:

Xie Kuan is an interdisciplinary environmental architect. He holds a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art and currently lives and works between London and Beijing. He enjoys bringing wild imagination and speculative design to life through both digital tools and physical media. His work spans painting, writing, performance, digital environments, and installation art, exploring visions of future symbiosis between humans and non-humans, societies and ecosystems. Gao Yu, a visual designer and digital artist, graduated from the Royal College of Art with a degree in Information Experience Design and currently works in London and Beijing. She enjoys observing nature and using software such as sculpture and dynamic modelling to create a unique aesthetic expression. She is passionate about exploring the relationship between society, ecology and technology using different media such as fiction, imagery and installation art, and immersing audiences in the worlds she constructs through multi-sensory experience design. She works in the fields of fiction, visual design, experience design, digital art and illustration.
