Author:
Chen Zijun was born in Zhuhai, Guangdong in 1993. In 2011, he was admitted to the Qian Xuesen Mechanics Class of the School of Aerospace Engineering at Tsinghua University. In 2020, he graduated from the Department of Engineering Mechanics, School of Aerospace Engineering at Tsinghua University with a Ph.D. degree in Aerodynamics. He is working as a researcher in aerospace technology. Chen has been engaged in science fiction writing since 2011 and has achieved multiple honors in the science fiction community. In 2013, he won the Best New Writer Award for the 25th Galaxy Award by his works The Mirage and The Light of Elke. In 2014, his short story The Cavendish Trap won the 26th Galaxy Awardthe for Best Short Story. In 2016, his novella Sparkle won the 28th Galaxy Award for the Best Novelette, and in the same year, his Song of the Ocean won the 7th Chinese Nebula Awards for the Best Short Story.
